PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The GMT Payroll Import routine has been written with Oxford Software Flatfile and Tempaid in mind, but it would take the two export files with the correct fixed length fields from any time and attendance system, including LSM Logics IQX system, and import them into Sage Payroll.

File no 1 has the static employee details e.g. names and addresses with NI, Tax Codes etc details. File No 2 has the time sheet entry information, with differing rates of pay etc per employee. The payroll operator only uses the Sage Payroll system to print out Payslips and other Payroll reports, BACS export file, and then update the records ready for the next payroll run.

The routine is seamless and has a maintenance panel to set up the data directories. Multi company functionality has been written into the system. The maintenance panel directs the import routine to the different directories and files’ depending on which companies data requires importing.

The system has been written in Borland C++ and has been thoroughly tested and has been used by dozens of agencies since April 2001 without any software any problems.
